Suffice to say I'm glad I missed it all but surprised at the one sided scoreline.
Well done Roger, don't know how you won here but you did. And commiserations to Andy Murray. Great tournament by him and certainly he will be a player who will learn from this loss and smack Federer next time.

Agreed destroyer and even with the bad call, he should have been able to pull it together afterward. It was the same as last year; the steadiness of Federer prevails over the first time finalist.

How can you describe that? Total brilliance from the real world No.1. Finished eh? You can all shut your mouths after you've swallowed your words. I had a few tears down my cheeks there after that I'm not afraid or ashamed to admit. One of the best wins if his career and what a way to set up 2009. Congratulations to Andy aswell on a fantastic fortnight and that will be the first of many Grand Slam final appearances. Look out for the headline in tomorrow's papers - Lucky 13 for Fed.

@MrLeusk: robbed by a bad line call hey? Well, I agree he would have won the point, but why not the challenge? Players can no longer use that excuse, and even if they were out of challenges they should use them more wisely. Federer was just a class above, Murray is almost as good a player of the game but you need the complete package and the Swiss has it.

Federer is just a better slam finalist. Hats off to thedestroyer.
Set 1: Murray was stunned.
Set 2: Murray was robbed by a bad call and could not recover.
Set 3: Murray just didn't want to be humiliated.

Tip: ATP Players can have an uncanny liking (or disliking as the case may be) of certain tournaments. These sorts of factors are not directly built into the Insight Tennis Model and often help explain sudden reversals of form.
