Del Potro was clinical against Haas yesterday and I expect another performance where he gets on top early on and doesn't let up. Troicki doesn't have the artillery from the back of the court to compete with Juan Martin and I think this will be another 2-0 to go on the record of the young Argentine.

Del Potro has emerged into a top 10 player and is simply in white hot form having dropped only 3 sets in his last 17 matches and with a win here is in excellent position to set himself up for a trip to Shangai as long as he continues to be stellar the rest of the year. The last time a 19 year old went on a rampage like this was probably when Nadal took the tennis world by surprise but it seems like theres nothing in the way of Del Potro and a solid spot in the top 5.
Troicki got absolutely shellacked by Roddick in the first round but after that was just too good for the former world #1 American, who now seemingly is on a downward spiral looking at the twilight of his career. Troicki hasn't done much on tour but nonetheless has the arsenal to make some noise when he gets hot.
The win is unlikely for Troicki but the way he has been off the ground the last 2 days I think he's got a pretty solid shot. He has a big serve and although Del Potro is excellent in blocking back the big serve Troiciki is showing a solid rhytmn off the ground and with the right ingredients I think an upset is possible, especially at these odds.

Del Potro is a top 10 player on current form and should have little trouble beating someone like Troicki. These are tournaments for mugs and Del Potro has proved that he is a class above them all. Free money.

As long as Del Pot has enough puff left then he should win this fairly easily. He's ceratinly young enough to keep on running and running. Troicki won;t be a push over and will be throwing the kitchen sink at Del Pot so for me the first set is the deciding one. This is as far as Viktor has been before at this level and no doubt he will be nervous. Without having actually watched any of this tournament I can only side with the man of the moment.

Tip: ATP Players can have an uncanny liking (or disliking as the case may be) of certain tournaments. These sorts of factors are not directly built into the Insight Tennis Model and often help explain sudden reversals of form.
