Sorry the server was down, especially the past 20 or so hours prior to this match. I wonder how many of you bet on del Potro? After watching del Potro massacre Marty Fish and watching Roddick whip Gremelmayr, I thought that del Potro played the tougher opponent. Gremelmayr's style was duck soup for Roddick but I had a strong feeling that Roddick would not match up nearly as well with del Potro since he creams the cover off the ball. I loaded up and I mean loaded up (largest bet I have ever made in my life on a tennis match) and needless to say, I am one happy camper tonight. :-)del Potro could be the next great one given the fact he is only 19 years old and he played with such composure. Roddick tried to install pyschological tactics in the first set to stop the momentum of the set, but obviuosly it didn't work. Roddick's game has definitely improved but on my what a game del Potro possesses!

Gremelmayr for me. Roddick despite two "easy" wins has not looked great, has faced a fair amount of break points, and had two opponents who did not bring their best games. Gremelmayr is just the type of player that gives Andy problems. Consistent from the baseline, great defender, will make Roddick have to hit extra shots, which he inevitably misses, leading to frustration and arguments with the chair about let cords. Gremelmayr has tested and beaten the best of the best of clay, and has showed ability on hards. The odds demand a play on the German upstart who was jipped out of an olympics spot and seems extremely motivated this week to continue his move up in the rankings.

Roddick should win this, but Denis will fight to the bitter end,so it could be close but Andy's serve and consistant groundies should finally see off the German.

Tip: ATP Players can have an uncanny liking (or disliking as the case may be) of certain tournaments. These sorts of factors are not directly built into the Insight Tennis Model and often help explain sudden reversals of form.
