 Cibulkova is a confidence player. Stats over the last year show that if she wins the first set she then wins 89% of those matches and if she loses the first set she then loses 90% of those matches. If she wins the 1st set she is likely to go to about 1.4 and is then definitely worth a punt (odds should be about 1.1).

 I am a big admirer of little Dom, but I really think she is going to have a hard night against reformed powerhouse Russian Safina. Safina disposed of the hot Azarenka last night in 3 sets and Cibulkova offers little threat compared to the Belarussian. Cibulkova's serve is weak and Dinara will be able to pick away at it on too many occasions in my opinion. I'm no fan of Safina by any stretch of the imagination, but she has to be the call unfortuanately. I'd love to see Dom get the prize however.

 I am very found of Dominika Cibulkova. A stable and non-choking girl, who always does the best she can with her good technique and smart strategy. The odds figures on different sportbooks don't tell us the truth about what a dangerous opponent Dinara Safina will meet. For me Dominika is WTA's best underdog this season (so far) and today's odds are really juicy.

As for betting - I've gone with a value multi & have backed Murray & Safina @ odds of 10.

Feeling very confident with Dominika & think Safina may fail to execute her game properly.
