| | I do need to add one thing though: I've just looked at the Kitzbühel draw for the first time and it's pretty terrible. If Del Potro puts his mind to it and reaches 70% or more of the level he has been playing this week, he should win the tournament with ease..It's alll up to him and his mental, and of course physical, state. |

| | As I said earlier: I think he has shown a great deal of potential and see him as a certain future top 10 player. Trouble with players after a good week however is that they are bad in the next one. An early exit wouldn't be strange, so I would be careful with him next week. |

| | Del Potro was a thouroughly deserved winner, he took his opportunities when they came, he defended well when he had to and was controlled in attack. Gasquet was found wanting on the big points and failed to dictate the points as I though he might prior to the match. It was Del Potro who was stepping inside the court more frequently and putting all the pressure on Gasquet to come up with a winner and the Frenchman failed to do so with any regularity. Del Potro has shown this week he has the game to make the top twenty and it should be highlighted he's still just a teenager. |

| | Gasquet when needed in match vs Calleri won important points and server reAlly well (2nd ball around 80% first no more than 50%) anyway fired couple of aces and never looked in danger in the moments when he used to collapse has won points quite easily. Del Porto playes defensive tennis and has done it in good mood till now anyway Gasquet in such form will take it as heis game is superior and he will win majority of rallies IMO |

| | Gasquet should win here, but given the 2 player's level of inconsistency i would not treat this as a serious bet, putting $1 on a Gasquet 2-1 win, nothing more. Better opportunities next week. |

| | Gasquet has had an easy run in prior matches where he lost the 1st set 7/6.
The opponent has had a poor 1st serve rate and this coupled with an even poorer 2nd Serve percentage won ahs helped gasquet run over them.
This won't happen with Pothead and I think if we go by the stats from previous matches he has played. His serving has been a high 60% = all week and ground strokes have been consistent.
Provided his nerves hold up, i'd say Pothead may be driving the Mercedes out of this tournament. |
