| | I would call Sela a much better player but I know nothing of the circumstances of this Vancouver tournament. Kevin Kim is a rare player against who, Sela would actually look the more dangerous for once. |

| | Polansky leads this one 1-0 in the H2H and comes into this match off a good result against compatriot Niemeyer and 4th seed Falla in the round before. Kim has had some up and down results but recently won the Aptos challenger and qualified for main draw of Wimbledon. He has also seen off Kudryavtsev and Pless (both top 200 players) in the qualifying to this event. I expect this is be a close match but feel Kim has more form and tends to be tough to beat when on a roll. |

| | Was very close to finally pulling the trigger on Bopanna, until I checked out his qualifying statistics...some horrendous serving which would surely leave him exposed against anyone half-decent. Couldn't really say that Kim belongs to that club these days, but he is usually a pretty steady player. Want Bopanna at more inflated odds to consider finally pulling the trigger. |
