| | Wilcard Aubone won his first match but that was against a guy ranked almost 700, now faces Bjorn Phau a former regular top 100 player who recently made the successful transition from clay to hard court by making the semis at a challenger event prior to coming here where he accounted for a better local in Witten yesterday. The German is super quick around the court, has some fiesty groundstrokes and can play solid defense when required which should provide more answers than Aubone can pose questions. |

| | Phau does very well in most grand slam qualifiers but does lose out in the actual main round, while his opponent is a complete unknown having nearly no experiance what soever, doenst play any atp matches and hardly any Challenger matches, he plays most of his tennis in the futures, and the only thing that could be in Aubones favour is the home crowd but dont think there will be much people watching him, this should be so easy for Phau. |
