| | Groth is an aspiring young Aussie who loves the hardcourts that are conjucive to his game - he boasts a big serve, can back it up at the net and likes to be aggressive off the ground. His lead-up form is solid without being spectacular and he has beaten the likes of Sela, Tipsarevic, KEndrick and Moodie this year suggesting he'll be far too hot for the erratic Kamke who prefers the dirt and is just a career 4-7 on this terrain. |

| | Lucky loser Kamke lost in straight sets to hernych in final qualifying for the main draw, while Seppi took Karlovic to three sets at Nottingham. The German has a 2-2 grasscourt record as compared to a 20-12 record for Seppi. Kamke plays most of his tennis on the lesser circuits and it is difficult seeing him getting anything from the solid Seppi. |

| | Andreas Seppi wasin career-best form at times throughout the clay season, but has taken a little longer to adapt to the grass though will build confidence from hearty and gritty wins over Sela and Schwank as well as 3-set loss to eventual champ Karlovic in Nottingham. The Italian's grasscourt record reads 20-12 with wins over Murray, Hrbaty, Wawrinka, Clement and Davydenko, but his Wimbledon showings have been less than fruitful. Tobias Kamke, a German who himself has very little grass pedigree to speak of, bowed out in qualifying to Jan Hernych but was given a lucky loser card thanks to a withdrawal. He is therefore contesting his first Grand Slam tournament, and whilst he does boast a decent serve standing at 190cm tall, he will require a miracle to get past the steady-head and consistent baseline play of the athletic Seppi. Andreas will get lots of cheap points on his serve, and will be looking to take toll on the young German's second ball that has yielded a success rate of in the 40s in a lot of his recent matches. Hard to see how Seppi will lose a set here - he should post a fairly straightforward 3 set result to notch his fourth consecutive win against a German against an opponent who has never beaten a player in the top 50. |
