| | We're talking about two different levels here. Tereza Hladikova has done a marvelous trip in Bad Gastein so far. Now, I think, she's come to the end of the line. Mariya Koryttseva is a better player, who plays in a higher division.

| | Hladikova has had a fantastic tournament so far winning 5 matches to make it this far. Four of the matches have been in 3 tight sets so she has proved she has the mental toughness and stamina to battle till the end. Before this tournament nothing really stands out results wise so her latest victory coming against Sprem was a big surprise. Koryttseva has been playing at a higher level this year recently making final of Palermo. Beating Wozniacki this week compounds her in the top 100 and a top 50 player soon. Koryttseva to win this due to form, higher level and maybe 4 tight 3 set matches for Hladikova may take its toll somewhat. |
