From AAP:
SYDNEY, Dec 26 AAP - Exciting Victorian teenager Olivia Rogowska has been awarded a wildcard to the Hobart International in January. Rogowska, who made her WTA Tour debut at the event last January this year, received the wildcard following a promising first year on tour. Fed Cup coach and national selector David Taylor said Rogowska had earned the wildcard. ``Olivia has had a fantastic year, scaling the world rankings and showing good form against tough opponents on the international stage,'' Taylor said. ``Her form on the Australian Pro Tour was good and her performance at the Wildcard Play-off was worthy of this opportunity.'' Eighteen-year-old Rogowska came to the Australian public's attention after losing narrowly in three sets to former world No.1 Dinara Safina at the US Open in August. Rogowska was this week awarded a wildcard into next month's Australian Open.

Olivia Rogowska had beaten Jessica Moore 6-2 6-2, to make the final of the Aust Open wildcard play-off.
She'll play Casey Dellacqua. Rogowska and Dellacqua met in the round robin earlier this week, with Dellacqua stunning the top seed for a 7-6 (12-10) 6-0 victory. Rogowska said she was happy with her form after a semi-final win and was hopeful of winning her way into the Australian Open. ``I played some pretty good tennis, so I was really happy with how I went,'' said Rogowska. ``I didn't start off the play-offs playing too well. I lost two matches in my round robin stage but I feel like I've been playing every match better as the week's been going on so hopefully tomorrow will be even better. ``When I played her at the beginning of the week I didn't know what to expect so I'm just going to go out there tomorrow, stay mentally tough, stay positive and just stay tough and not give her any free points like I did a couple of days ago.''
