| | Brianti is a dirtball battler whose decision to revert back to clay after a recent venture to the hard courts is a little confusing. The big serve and heavy hitting of Brit Mel South is suited to this terrain, and she comes into qualifying with superior form to a lot of girls in this field with a 3-set match with Bartoli, a competitive loss to the young rising star Rybarikova and a win over capable veteran Castano in Bronx. She should dictate the baseline rallies against the defensive Italian and only high counts of unforced errors and a woeful first ball percentage you'd think could stop her here. |

| | Yeah maybe fries aswell I suppose :-). On Mock The Week they reveal an answer and everyone has to guess what the question is. The answer was cheese, wine and rubbish, and one of them said is the question what 3 words best describe France. |
