| | I had confidence in Bartoli and I was the only one on this page to give her a decent bet, Bartoli may not be the fittest or skinniest player but she is a quality player and I wish people would cut her a brake for once. |

| | davenport is atleast competitive now, i havent backed her but always like her to do well at the US open - hope she can take it to a third. |

| | I like bakcing Bartoli, and on any other service, would give her a fighting chance. But on hard in front of home crowd, Davenport will maul her. The power play coupled with Bartoli's lack of mobility will frustrate her, and any sloppy serves will be whacked back for winners also |

| | I was behind Marion in her last match an i will be again against Davenport.Bartoli playing good of late an her an i see her causing many problems for Lindsay she will definitely need her home crowd cheering her on but i feel that won`t be enough either |
