| | Unfortunately sometimes on this site people's emotions get the better of them - it's amazing what money does. If gambling were non-existant, most would be finding excuses for him. It's important to evaluate the game afterwards instead of in the heat of the moment. He's made us expect so much of him now that even the slighest disappointment is magnified. But Vamos Roger. |

| | Guru - It's not quite low risk but I like Ivanovic to finish the job, Djokovic 2-0, Azarenka and Wawrinka - Pats 12/1. Worth a shot. @Destroyer - Yes because not many people seem to like Federer on here and always slag him off when he loses but you agree with in regards to him. |

| | Lol cheers mate - was that for just giving you confidence? I'm a big believer in the big-time players. Put it this way, you'd rather be a fully fit Federer than Nadal right now with his troubles. Davydenko isn't overly convincing for me on the clay, Djokovic has his stamina/illness worries in Grand Slam events (even at the AO but he won), Nalby is not at peak fitness, Gasquet is all out of sorts, Berdych is not match fit, Ferrer has lost a few surprise games on the dirt of late, and Roddick, Blake, Tsonga etc are not suited to the surface. He's a good shot - he'll be just hoping for a favourable draw. |

| | He should be confident of defending Hamburg even after his loss yesterday. Nadal lost aswell for whatever reason (probably to lighten the load) and Federer really should have took Monte Carlo to a decider then who knows what might have happened. I backed Federer for Rome and when Rafa fell I thought I had it but not to be. I always back Federer when he's around 8/1 because that's too big for any tournament in my opinion for the world's greatest. |

| | I am Aussie, but in all fairness to Laver who is right up there, he played in the older era and the game has revolutionalised. So many more players, os many more talents, the changing of the game meant its harder to dominate but he contradicted this theory. Tiger Woods close also, but Federer in full flight from 04-07 was just a sight to behold. He'll come good in Hamburg - he said he's very confident of defending it in the press conference yesterday and has an ilk for the big time. |

| | I agree with that totally. Some say Laver but that's what's great about opinions. A case could be made for Tiger Woods I suppose but Federer anyday for me. I really hope he wins the French which Sampras failed to do but after the Stepanek loss it's not looking promising. |

| | Federer without a doubt. Best player to have ever lived. His dominance over the past 4 years surpasses any dominance from any sporting player or team in the past 20 years imo. |

| | @Destroyer - No doubt it will be interesting. Getting slightly more concerned about her though with losses to Sharapova, Serena and Safina - 3 big hitting types. She is without doubt in my mind the best player in the world and I hope she picks up in time for the French. I think the biggest threat to her this year is Ana not Serena and I don't think Sharapova has the game to beat her on clay. That 2/1 looks slightly less appealing than a few months earlier though. Right about Federer he is magnanimous in defeat always and is a true professional. He is my sporting hero. who is yours? |

| | @d.carson - totally agree with you about Serena and even Venus. I admire their tennis abilities of course, but they've never been favourites with me because I can't stand non-gracious losers. They barely ever congratulate their opponents or conceed being outplayed, instead they focus on themselves. Why do we all love Fed? Because he is the opposite. Regards to Henin - she has not been the same for mine since the split from her ex-husband and I still think it has its side affects. I doubt she's the dummy-spitting type, I actually think she really thinks something is either wrong with her mindset or physically and is striving to be at her best. She knows how good she is, and probably doesn't want to be appearing at tournaments not 100%. The next few weeks will be interesting hey. |

| | @destroyer - Yes, It seems to me like when she loses she throws a tantrum and decides to take time out. With playing little Tennis how can she be fatigued? She obviously must be down and out after recent poor form but she should be throwing everything at the clay tournaments which she loves. Safina had never even taken her to a tie-break in 12 sets (I don't Think) so it must have hit hard that loss but I wonder how long the lay off wil be for this time? Serena is the worst loser though if you have ever listened to her in a post-match interview as she blames everyone and everything but herself. I backed Henin for last years French with big money and was all set for a repeat but considering it more closely now. |
