Daniela Hantuchova has a stress reaction in her foot, which caused her to pull out of Stuttgart. Daniela Hantuchova has hired Italian Claudio Pistolesi as her new coach, but the two will undergo a three tournament trial period.
Pistolesi mostly recently coached Robin Soderling, and also coached Monica Seles, his former wife Anna Smashnova, Ai Sugiyama and Davide Sanguinetti.

BRISBANE, Jan 6 AAP - Slovak starlet Daniela Hantuchova has credited Australian coaching guru Darren Cahill with toughening her up to be a "completely different" player.
Hantuchova spoke in glowing terms of Cahill's immediate influence after shooting into the quarterfinals of the Brisbane International with a dominant second-round display.
Cahill, who worked wonders with Lleyton Hewitt and Andre Agassi, started coaching Hantuchova in December.
The leggy right-hander said it was an "honour" to be guided by the Las Vegas-based South Australian, who had made her smarter and mentally stronger.
"I still do feel like there's so much more inside me and the best hasn't come out yet, so I'm still hoping I'll be able to show that one day," she said.
"Because of Cahill I'mjust looking at the game in a completely different angle, and also maybe trying to learn from the men's game where everything's so much faster, more powerful, but also smarter."
"They just play so much smarter than us and that's what I'm trying to learn and improve in my game, and I've been on the tour for 10, 11 years, so there are not too many new things I can learn, but with him I feel like I'm improving every day."
