Further to that, I was on Ram's Wikipedia page the other day and noticed that some unfortunate punter had decided to take their revenge by describing Ram's loss at Newport to Klassen as "one of the worst chokes in history"!!

Although, if you have a look at it now you'll just find a description of the end of the match itself, with the offending words removed

Ram lost 6-1 6-1 as top seed to Marinko Matosevic at the Aptos Challenger yesterday. Pretty disgusting, Mato's not a bad player - but as far as Rajeev is concerned that's a rancid result.

He's last direct acceptance into Atlanta next week, and after this along with his choke to Klaasen at Newport, it might be profitable to oppose the American.

Rajeev Ram, while contesting the Tashkent challenger yesterday against Japan's Tatsuma Ito, experienced severe and painful back spasms when serving at 5*-6 (deuce). He motioned around the court for almost a minute before calling for medical assistance, for which he was then advised he must pull the pin and grant his opponent the victory.
