| | Miranda is somewhat of an unknown quantity, playing the large majority of his matches on the challenger circuits. Small player who possesses a clay court style game so will obviously be suited here than on any other surface. Faces a tough ask here though, playing the giant Max Mirnyi. The one thing in his favour is obviously that the Beast's worst surface record IS only clay, mainly due to the fact that his enormous serve is negated by the slowness of the court, not allowing him to set up good net position to finish the points off. Predicting that Miranda will be able to rally here, and if he can keep Mirnyi to the back of the court as much as possible, he should be able to get up in a major upset. Just not confident on Max on clay. |
