those odds on brianti are just a gift- yesterday and today.
looks like bookies are playing a psychological game - why suddenly odds turned around and brianti is 1.25 after 1st set and lepchenko 3.7.. it doesnt happen when there is such a strong (at least in odds) favourite before start of the match... :)

Having said that this is the first meeting on indoor hard courts and Lepchenko should come out on top in a war.

I went against Lepchenko in last round based on her indoor record even though she has played really well this year. I watched Brianti against Pervak and she played great, defended superby and outplayed Pervak from start to finish. One concern is she gets broken a lot and i'm not sure Lepchenko will gift her as many opportunities to break as Pervak did.

H2h is a big influence and she is playing well enough to win this, but i'm siding with Lepchenko this time, as think she is playing better than their previous meetings and is capable of winning the tournament on current form.
