Catscratch nomination for quote of the year.

"Can't see Wawrinka's impregnable serve be tested by Flavio."

Sorry but that's brilliant ;)

I wouldn't mind a little wager on Stan about now anyway because in the end Cipolla is just not a good player and if Stan could find some form he can still win this. Have some faith wawrinka backers.

I wouldn't make this game a closed case. Wawrinka certainly can still come back from this position. Because in the end he is playing against Cipolla.

Cipolla has excelled in getting this far but this does look the end of the road for the defensive styled Italian. Wawrinka has come through in straight sets against a couple of players with considerably more weapons than Cipolla and although the Swiss does have a habit of playing a little deeper than is required on these faster courts, he looks to have the upper hand in all of the shotmaking departments.

Wawrinka is showing that he probably will never emerge into a grand slam winner, but he has the tools to be ranked in the top 10 and it looks like he could be en route to a Fernando Gonzalez esque career with maybe a little more consisteny. Cipolla is hapless here.

Stan will have far too much class for Cipolla who should be totally satisfied about reaching the 3rd round. Wawrinka in straight sets with confidence!

Lucky Loser Cipolla will be a Deserved Loser here. Can't see Wawrinka's impregnable serve be tested by Flavio. Wawrinka has some power off both wings which unfortunately Flavio's victims didn't.

Flavio gets to sightsee and Stan the Man gets to assess how good he may be.
