great...i made some easy money on 2nd tiebreak. When Karlovic was behind i put on him and when Querrey started to serving i took my money out and placed it on Querrey :D

Which is why the guy has a negative tiebreaker record, lol Querrey up 2 sets to 0. I'd say its gameover, Karlovic is no fitness freak and won't come back to win 3 straight sets.

The problem for Karlovic - you need more than a serve to win a tie break. This one will be settled in three straight sets. Easy money!

Phew. That's the beauty of betting against Karlovic. Once he loses the first set, the match is as good as over.

I really dislike Querrey as a rule, but today i think everything i weigh up points to a Querrey win.... Whichever way you look at this it is going to be a long physical service battle with each set decided on a few points and even if ive goes 2 sets up, i would still think Querrey to be in it because Ivo will know there is still a long set ahead.... Basically i am saying this is going to be a long hard match and i think Querrey is fitter than ivo and has the home crowd. I dont normally read much into h2h's either but Querrey has won 2 out of 2 against the Doctor on hard in the USA.... So 2.26 is real value in my opinion....

I underestimated just how poor Serra was in the last round, but I am confident that Querrey will make no mistake disposing of the grossly overrated Karlovic.

Karlovic has been serving with very well he is almost unbreakable when he is on target. Not only does Karlovic serves like Usain Bolt's dash. but his placing on serve is excellent. Karlovic does have a poor record in Grand Slams. Queery won against Berdych but his follow up match was a struggle against Devilder. If Querry going to win this, it needs to be in within 4 sets as he was struggling physically towards the end. Head to Head favours Queery 2-1 but should have been in favour for Ivo as he was unable to capitalise on Match Point. IMO Karlovic at 1.72 (Sportingbet AUS) is a decent odds. As always, good luck. :)....

Have to go with karlovic here the current ace leader - surprise, surprise. That extra experience at this level should be the difference for the croatian here - querrey will not out serve ivo -

The odds pretty much reflect the closeness of this game. Ivo hhas the better game but his record in GS events at this stage of th tournament doesn't lend itself to confidence when putting money on him. Querry is in front of his home crowd which is perhaps the only aspect in his favour. Ivo should get this on im my opinion but it's going to be a real nail biter if you put big stakes on him.

Querry has the game for Ivo and don't take how the last match went for Sam as Mr. Nishikori had the same problem with cramping and came out and dominated his next match.

Despite the Head to Head, Karlovic is a better tennis player than Querrey. Have more mobility in baseline, more scams from baseline than the american player. Also Karlovic have twice more aces than Querrey( 1,41 X 0.77). So even Karlovic serve half the usual medium, he is in the level of Querrey.

Querrey looked a spent force at the tail end of his match with Devilder and would not have finished the match had it gone another set as he began to cramp quite badly. The American will be pleased he is matched up against a player where rallies will be few and far between. Karlovic has fired an astonishing 70 aces in two matches, 42 of them in his last match in fact 70% of his first serves that found the target were aces against Serra. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is likely to be a serve dominated match! Karlovic certainly wouldn't make anyones list of great movers but Querrey was running on empty against Devilder and on that basis I'll be going withy the Croat.

Tiebreakers are the call of the day here, and i dont see querrey as good a returner as ivo even though his is suspect at best. Querry capatalised on a wasteful Berdych and will need an off firing croatian to have a good chance to progress. He has the home factor, an the edge in h2h, but not the quality defeat of opposition that Karlo possess this year and i feel he will lose this battle of serves

Querrey lose here. American only win because of big serve. Karlo bigger serve and better player win easy

Querrey has made a nice little run here at this tournament showing that eventually he may emerge into the #1 American and that time may be coming sooner or later.

Karlovic continues to build on a solid season and he likes the match up here I'm sure.

I'm not huge on Querrey here but Karlovic doesn't like these long 5 setters and I think all the ingredients look like an upset for the American.

Imo, Sam Querrey is going through a bad patch. At the same time i think Ivo has been getting better and better lately.
