Hernych has great stats on the hard courts and plays very well when he has the chance in the atp tour. While Hocevar is unknown to the high tournaments and his results show that he does struggle on the hard courts, so am going for a Hernych win here.

If you take out the top 50 players in the world, Hernych would be a star because he rarely puts a foot wrong. He has no attacking artillery but makes very few unforced errors and forces opponents to hit the extra ball to beat him. A player of Hocevar's credentials - who needed a 3rd set breaker to beat a near 800 ranked player in R1 of quallies - is not going to bother him.
