Suarez is simply a much better player.

I think that Suarez is the WTA Montanes on fast surfaces. Bacsinsky has mixed it impressively with Henin & Venus this year and can certainly pull of an upset here if she uses the court speed to her advantage. Her ranking would still suggest she is right not to be favoured though. On a good day, she does it here.

She can do it, she is outsider for this match, no other choice to pick her

I think the swiss will get back on track at nice odd.
I see no reason why she could not play well on hard court.
Tuff affair for sure cause Navarro never gives up, but Bacsinszky should prevail.

Bacsinszky is enduring a tough road at the moment having lost 6 of her past 9 since making the Strasbourg semis on clay, and the Swiss youngster's credentials on the hardcourts must be a concern with just a 13-11 lifetime record that reads just 4-4 in 2008 with only one win coming at main draw WTA level. Suarez-Navarro, although a rugged dirtballer herself, has proven she isn't hopeless on this terrain with some fince performances at ITF level and competitive losses to Zakopalova (Slovenia) and Peng (Beijing) her last two. She is super fast around the court, runs every ball down and has a stylish single-handed backhand that is more than capable of stepping up the attack when required. Bacsinszky has the slightly better serve and hits heavier off the ground, but her inconsistency of late and proneness to unforced errors could play well into the hands of the Spaniard who can break the top 50 with two wins here this week.

Tip: The difference in Match Rating between two players represents the average number of service games that separate them in a set of tennis as predicted by the Insight Model. Lower Rating Handle values indicate that the predicted rating is more speculative and that the player’s ‘true’ form may be significantly different from the models statistical prediction.
