Looks like Karlo walked the tight rope with a freezer in one hand. It's good nite here for the Croate.

I wouldn't expect any Slovenian to beat Ivo Karlovic. Karlovic will win 2-1 just like last night.

Karlovic is terrible. Take his serve away and I could beat him and that is a serious comment.

WoW Luka surely is showing some heart though. In fact, like i said yesterday, i cant really remember when was the last time a Slovenian male tennis player was in the 3rd round of an ATP tournament. I think he can beat Karlo because he is better of the ground and his serve is not that easy to return either. Go Luka win the breaker!

No one tipping Gregorc then?! Not surprised. I can't see how ivo could lose this. His serve would have to be dreadful, which seeing as its the only thing world class about him, is something that tends not to happen. Sure thing in my book.

Although Gregorc beat Acasuso yesterday his performance was awful and any other play on the tour would of beaten him. Karlovic is one of the most boring men on the tour, but he will be too good here. I'd be very surprised if Gregorc got a break point in the whole match. Massive bet.

Karlovic come through has i expected against big server Isner. It looked alot match then reads because big Ivo was always in control. He won 16 more points than Isner faced no B/Points but broke Isner serve twice. It was also another serving master class by the best serve in the world (Ever) serving up 17 Aces an won 45/51=88% behind the 1st serve master class

Gregorc had a surprise victory against Acasuso but he won`t go no further

I am still upset about the lazy b*st*rd Acasuso. That buffoon is on my black-list from now on. Luka Gregorc is poor and untalented player, who has no weapons towards Ivo Ivory. The King of Aces will in the 1st game of the 1st set, make a hole right throw him with a yellow cannon ball, which has the speed of light!

Big Ivo should beat the fortunate Gregorc as he went through the first round thanks to a lacklustre Acasuso. Straight sets victory for me but I haven't bet that because this is part of a multi and betfair don't have that option in there multiples site!

The feelings were funny about Acasuso in R1 and they proved me correct with his poor loss to this man Luka Gregorc in a typically lacklustre and lazy effort from the Argentine. Gregorc won just 51% and 55% behind his first and second serves respectively and was broken 4 times, yet still managed to beat his seeded opponent in straight sets conceeding just 8 games. Karlovic, on the other hand, seemed impressive against big John Isner coming from a set behind to eclipse his serving nemesis gaining a break early in the second and late in the deciding set. The big Croat will again rely on that hefty serve to produce many cheap points against the average Slovenian who would have never faced a guy with even as half a decent serve as Ivo, and the fact that Acasuso managed 4 breaks doesn't bode well for his bid to push things to a tiebreak. Karlovic is at a career-high ranking, is full of confidence and looking to get some solid lead-up to Flushing Meadows and it's hard to see how he could possibly lose this one. 2-0.
