georges's little victory (6/4 6/3) on a poor bychkova in first round,Srebotnik at home (2 finals in 3 years), the revenge of Wimbledon and the hard court...I see an easily victory of Srebotnik

Goerges leads 1-0 in H2H with a last set marathon at Wimbledon. Srebotnik results on hard are far more appealing than Goerges and will be looking for revenge in front of her home fans. Srebotnik for me...

Boys, I'd be very careful of this one. Georges is a big burly type with some heavy artillery and you'll remember their match from Wimbledon. I picked the German at nice odds in that match with her serve/volley approach and despite 10 aces and 12 double faults and a fairly high unforced error count, the quickness of the courts was a little too much for Kata that day. She dominated Srebotnik's second serve that day and had a little edge in firepower in the baseline rallies, though it must be said the harder courts will definitely slow the serve down a touch and the ball will bounce a lot more higher which will make things more comfy for the home favourte. Srebotnik has the pressure on her and you'll all remember her shock loss to Sucha 1R here in 06 though she has made the final the other two years playing here. Goerges looked impressive against Bychkova and is certainly a player on the rise, but if you do get anything around the $1.60-$1.70 mark for Kata it would be good value for the revenge. General swerve.

Certainly Srebotnik for the victory in front of her adoring home fans. Too consistent a player to let Georges in.
